If you are not planning on leaving the Channel this is an excellent small version of the big tome. Much easier to handle and store on board.

This Almanac contains information every sailor using the English Channel requires, its harbour/port info is first class and the thumbnail enlargements of the harbours/ports/marinas etc are annually improved in detail. The new annual edition is published in time for the September Southampton Boat Show which means that it is out of date come January and requires constant revision during the year in question. The publishers supply online monthly revision sheets including revised port chartlets from time to time which will keep the almanac purchaser occupied during bad weather spells at home! Notwithstanding the need for constant revision, the writer would not buy any other almanac for his English Channel sailing.
