    I bought some of these to use on my wrists. I was using them every day and then after about 2 weeks the material they're made from had stretched that much that the velcro no longer lines up so I had to wear them loose - thias is no use when you're running and they're sliding up and down your arm, I no longer use them. I am female though - so I imagine that a man might not encounter the same problem as they generally have bigger wrists.

    I bought a pair of these recently to use while power-walking (gravity is not good to women who jog!). I've been using them for just over a fortnight and find them quite useful. The velcro fit is comfortable and while they don't appear to weigh that much (I have 1lb on each wrist) once I've finished my 20 minute walk I can definitely feel the difference.

    I agree with the previous reviewer who advses to wear them over sweatbands - find that the cuffs of my hoodie work just as well. All in all, I recommend this bit of kit as an aid to making daily exercise a bit more challenging.

    I recommend that people wear sweat bands underneath the wrist/ankle weights when they use them. The velcro straps can chaff quite a bit and overtightening the strap can cut the blood circulation to the body's extremities.

    Size Name: 2 x 1kg
    The Reebok wrist / ankle weights are more of use on the wrists as I found that the weights only just fit around my ankles (and are tight when they do) I bought the 1kg weights, but you can get them in 0.5kg, which I would reccommend for those just starting out. The quality and make of the item is very good.
