I brought this item for under thirty five pounds in an Amazon sale, and for the money, it's a steal. It's long and heavy enough to give you a good workout without the need of modifying the filling, and as long as you don't go crazy, would double up as a kick bag, although for that purpose, you might wish for a longer unit.

I received the punch bag a few days days ago and I couldn't be more pleased with it, it looks more expensive than it is (£39.99 delivered at time of writing). It can be hung as high or as low as you like, depending on whether you want to box or kick. I am quite fit and this is more than heavy enough for me (female, size 8), but it has a hook at the base to anchor it to the ground if you need it to offer more resistance. Worth noting: the bag is delivered prefilled and ready to hang, but no hooks/chain/hanging device is provided - I hung mine on a beam in the garage using a bike chain and was punching in no time...

The bag itself seems ok but having only used it on three occasions I am more than disappointed that one of the straps has already come away. Now I am no Mike Tyson so if the stitching has come apart for me I am pretty sure that there is a design fault. In my opinion there should be far more and better quality stitching where the straps meet the metal loops. I will fix using chain I think as can't be bothered with the hassle of returning the item.
