excellent episode guide 7 May 2007
By D. W. O'Dell - Published on
Format: Paperback
"Redeemed" is an excellent episode guide/overview of the TV series Angel. Despite being written by fans of the show, it does not overlook those times when the show made bad choices; at the same time, their detailed analysis brings a greater appreciation of the details of the show to a casual fan. The epsiode descriptions are well written and amusing, and their analysis of the series' long story arcs (such as What Did Jasmine Cause To Happen?) is impressive. A definite must for any fan of Angel.

I find that going back to this program and its characters makes me enjoy the shows on DVD even more than I originally did. I would give it five stars except that it is written for people who were fans of the show.

Huge fan of angel! I've been watching it for years and I've even posted lots of crossover buffy fanfic with it. This book is great, but like with buffy I just want 2 clarify some things. 1st, leave conner alone. He's not whining anymore then dawn; he's lonely and that's 1 thing I think joss messed up on(not 2 mention what I heard happen in the comics that I won't read because of) that's why I don't think it's so bad that Cordelia is with him. Because she's not just sleeping with him; they actually could've had a decent relationship by seasons end, instead of going all over the place after the Jasmine episodes I really did love! Or, think of it this way; Connor, is 17; he loves fighting; but he wants to rest so he doesn't have to be alone anymore; and even though I love buffy and spike I think buffy and connor would make a very nice couple. Also and this complaint goes to joss, angels comments he gives to conner are completely out of line; and when it comes to Wes being with Fred; shed fit better with the wesley from angel, or at the end of waiting in the wings. Lila is better suited for wesley. But when the timing comes; illyria suits him well

Excellent book for all fans of Angel(the TV series) - a must have in order to delve deeper into the story line. Thoroughly enjoyed it and use it as a reference tool when I watch the series on TNT or my DVDs. Enhances my children's understanding of the series and its moral implications - provokes discussion on its relevance to life's issues.

Another Great Guide 26 Mar. 2007
By Troy A. Rutter - Published on
Format: Paperback
Another great reference guide from the people who gave us "Dusted" and the "I Who" series of guides. The amount of information contained in this volume is astounding, and the in-depth research definitely shows in the text.
