Datarock's second offering seems to take the current obsession with all things retro to a new level. Including songs made up of Talking Heads titles and a song about Molly Ringwald who, apart from a mention in "Family Guy" probably hasn't featured too heavily in most people's minds since "Pretty In Pink" and only then if you're old enough to remember it. Sounding like they're in a world of their own sometimes seems like no bad thing.
Overall this album manages to sound something like what Soulwax seem to want theirs to be. Some dancey tracks, some more indie inspired tracks, and something a bit of themsleves. Nothing here is really long enough to outstay its welcome and it hangs together quite well, in my view. It's almost boring to say this is another brilliant album from Scandinavia, but it is.
