Product Description

Product Description

A unique look at colours and friendship, now available in paperback.

This very simple text is about two friends, Sue and Nick, who like different colours but are still good friends. The artwork is stunning with each artist contributing alternate pages in their own inimitable style. The deceptively simple text is perfect for children learning to read.

About the Author

The young Nick Sharratt spent most of his time drawing and later took an Arts Foundation course at Manchester Polytechnic and a BA in Graphic Design at St Martin's. He is now well-known for his illustration of the books of Jacqueline Wilson and Jeremy Strong and for his own titles. He has won many awards, including the Children's Book Award in 2001 for Eat Your Peas. Nick lives in Brighton.

Great book 8 Aug 2010

Excellent book of colours for toddlers. Nice bright illustrations and text is nice to read aloud, with good rhythm. There are other books in this series - looking at the alphabet, numbers and opposites. I would highly recommend them all. Why no board book option though? I am sure they would be very popular for babies. Altogether an excellent first learning library for small children.

A surprise success 2 Jan 2012
Format:Paperback
Got it for my 2 and 1/3 year old son, was hoping it had lots of rockets as my son is a rocket fanatic, but it's only got one page with rockets. But my son absolutely loved it anyway.
