5.0 out of 5 stars Great inspiration 16 April 2010
Format:Hardcover
Mark and Sally Bailey champion the detail and cherish the past, they see the potential in under-appreciated objects and recycle and re-purpose them with good design in mind. They describe their style as 'undecoration', rather than spending time and effort repairing and repainting, they revel in the imperfections which tell the real history of the object.

5.0 out of 5 stars Out of the not so ordinary 10 Aug 2010
Format:Hardcover
If you are tired of the over slick clone interiors clogging up the pages of lifestyle magazines then this book represents a refreshing antidote. It is beautifully photographed and arranged and has a coeherent philosophy which extends beyond the endless pursuit of novelty which marks much of contemporary design. Highly entertaining and visually engaging, whilst at the same time challenging the conventional wisdom in many areas of interior design.
