A happy contributor 16 April 2010

Hope and healing.

I am a contributor to this issue of, "Recovering the self". I submitted a short story which contains several poems in the flow of the prose. The editor, Ernest Dempsey, did a wonderful job of displaying this work in a pleasing and satisfactory manner. I spent time reading the rest of the journal so I could gain understanding of the content. This is an interesting collection of stories and essays on the subject of the human condition. I have worked in the area of substance abuse and trauma induced behavior for over twenty years. I find the contents of this journal both uplifting and informative. I recommend this journal for mental health professionals, recovering addicts and alcoholics, combat veterans and emergency services personnel including Doctors, police, firefighters, ambulance and rescue workers.
