Product Description
Remember young children can choke on lozenges. - If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed, do not use this product. May cause allergic reactions. - This product containsisomalitol syrup, which may have a mild laxative effect if several are taken a day. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product. - Consult your doctor or pharmasist if you take too many lozenges, if symptoms persist, or anything unusual happens. - Do not use after the expiry date.

Very quick delivery for product. Perfect for sore throats and tastes better than the original, very fast acting and lasts for hours. It's very helpful that it contains 36 lozenges as it will get you through a cold.

strepsils are the best

i absolutely love strepsils. they work. i used to have to stock up on them when in the UK or France or Australia, but now they can be purchased here on Amazon, and i couldn't be happier.
the USA does not sell antiseptic lozenges over the counter like this. all of our medicines are fake money-making schemes that usually just consist of Menthol, which has NO medicinal properties, and is even drying - which just makes throat problems WORSE. it blows my mind.
i am no doctor, but i am convinced i have fought off strep throat infections with just Strepsils (along with other home remedies like steam inhalations, vitamins, & sinus rinses), since i don't have health insurance and can't easily get access to antibiotics anyway.
obviously if you have a full-blown infection, this probably won't save you, but i find it very effective for stopping germs in their tracks when caught early on.

Really, really, do work

I actually just came to Amazon to see if I could purchase these, (I have a sore throat now) and saw the one other review. I also was out of the country and got a sore throat. A doctor suggested Strepsils and it really worked. I brought back the unused portion but I'm running out. I love these lozenges...waaaay better than Ricola (what I used to use), Vicks, Halls, etc.

These things really work!

I got sick when we were out of the country, and my friend got me these. They help a sore throat more than any lozenges (Halls, Ricola, etc) I've found in the US. Instantly soothing and not icky-sweet, they contain 2 mild antibiotics. I didn't need tons of these because they worked really well. The lemon ones are nice; I haven't tried the menthol ones. Don't let the goofy cartoon character on the box fool you (it looks like kids' lozenges)--these are very effective. In the UK you can find them at Boots; grab some to bring home.
