This album is a cohesive collection of Bob Marley's Rebel (Protest) songs. It is an excellent selection of songs that were not included on Legend and some not easily found on his other favourite albums. It is a great compilation of one of the worlds greatest reggae artists

Any Bob Marley fan of any level should definitely buy this album. It has some of Bob Marley's most likable yet meaningful music. His voice has never sounded better that it does on "Them Belly Full" This is an excellent collection of music for someone who doesn't already have all of his original albums, but everyone should listen to the live version of "Get Up, Stand Up" It is the most exciting version of one of his most exciting songs. You can hear the pure emotion in every word sung on this album, which makes you realize how much Bob cared about making a difference.

What can I say .... I went shopping with my sister and purchased my first reggae music from Bob Marley during my 3rd year in college and it was this CD "Rebel Music" that I feel in love with songs like 'Crazy Ballheads,Medley: War no more trouble and my favorite Get up stand Up". I've since lost or someone borrowed and never returned my Rebel music CD. However, I got lucky and ordered my second CD of Bob Marley's Greatest online. I'm once again liberated and emotionally charged all over again.

This Bob Marley CD is phenomenal. It doesn't waste space on the album with watered down cross-over reggae hits like "One Love". Oh no! This album is full of "Rebel Music". My favorites on this CD are 'Slave Driver', 'Crazy Ballheads, and well all the songs are my favorites. A Bob Marley classic indeed. This album is perfect for the true roots reggae fan (a la Peter Tosh, B. Hammond, and the likes). This is a must have to make your roots collection complete.
