Excellent story with humor and drama all rolled in to one but let down by the ending, although it does leave the story open for a sequel.

Good action and plot development (for the most part) with some interesting characters. I suspect that the Aliens had more to do with the video game ties than any conviction of the authors.

Good space western with cheap ending.,

The authors had a good space shootem-up going. Ray guns, reluctant heros, good political and character lines. Then they copped out with a fast alien technology saves the day ending. Also I can't figure out how an alien civilization can " understand our political situation", especially after we shot up their OK Corral.
