From my nearly 8 year old daughter " I like the fact that it brought out mystery in a quiet town, I really liked the books and think other children would enjoy them".

5.0 out of 5 stars My Niece Loved It! 10 Dec. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I downloaded this book for my niece who was coming to stay - the blurb reminded me a little of the Secret Seven Mysteries by Enid Blyton that I used to read as a child (I know, Enid who...?)

Anyway, it was a resounding success - so much so that I was hard pressed to get my kindle back! (It is a large compilation!)

Highly recommended for all budding sleuths between the ages of 6 and 12!

5.0 out of 5 stars So Interesting! 12 Aug. 2013
By Sarah Lincoln - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I have enjoyed reading the books in this Rebekah - Girl Detective Series. The last book - Magic Gone Wrong is my favourite. The mystery deepens with each chapter and I could hardly wait to find out what was coming up next. I loved the part when Rebekah's friend mouse decides to play a trick on her and succeeds - the most - it was simply brilliant!

The stories are really interesting, entertaining and captivating as well as age appropriate. My children love the stories and I am sure yours will too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun stories, highly recommend them! 30 July 2013
By Dart Rhoades - Published on Amazon.com

My children (boy age 9 and girl age 12) really like the Rebekah stories. They ask to read them and we all take turns reading out loud. They are fun and interesting, with twists and surprises built in. I appreciate that the stories do not "talk down" to the children, the writing is intelligent, the characters are bright, inquisitive and relatable. The kids like to discuss the books long after they finish reading them. I would recommend the Rebekah books, so would my children. The stories are a great way for me to spend time with both of my children and for them to spend time together. Get the books and enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Compilation: Handy and Good Value 11 July 2013
By RG Dale - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
My kids and I were already familiar with the Rebekah series of short stories; I had previously bought the first four books and we've enjoyed reading and re-reading them. So, when I saw this reasonably-priced package I didn't hesitate in picking it up.

And I'm glad I did. The stories are fun and well-written, and now we can see the main characters, especially Rebekah and Mouse, (and their relationships with other people) develop over a longer story arc.

Mystery, a sense of wonder, humor, and common sense are recurrent themes in these stories and their value is quickly understood and appreciated by my children.

If your kids (girls especially, but younger boys too) are between 6 and 12 and like mysteries and whodunnits, I highly recommend this series. Keep 'em comin' Nanny P!

P.S. I should also add that although this is a large compilation, it's not unwieldy. The lay-out is easy to navigate and the TOC for all of the stories is hyperlinked.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Little Miss Sherlock Holmes That Will Delight Readers Of All Ages 9 July 2013
By Glenn Turner - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a charming collection of kids short story mysteries that will entertain and delight any young reader...and their adult storytellers. The instantly likeable characters, Rebekah with her ever ready pen and notebook and her mouse carrying sidekick appropriately enough named Mouse lead us through all kinds of fun filled investigative adventures. Whether it be investigating aliens on the loose at school or trying to solve the mystery of a missing mouse the stories unfold with a sense of playfulness and camaraderie and always enough mystery to keep kids guessing and involved until the end.

If you're looking for some short stories for your children that are fun and have some heart the adventures of Rebekah - Girl Detective are definitely worth investigating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Summer Reading 4 July 2013
By Kat - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a really fun series of children's books. I collect these types of books for my great nephews to read and they really enjoy them. Rebekah is an adorable little girl that has a good head on her shoulders and big dose of curiosity and determination to investigate things that don't make sense to her. Heck, Nanny P even had me going with Alien Invasion. Too cute! The underlying theme throughout these books, I think, is to help kids learn to reason through things and think for themselves. If you have children in this age group, this will be perfect summer reading for them. Highly recommended.
