Rebearth Re-tyred Sandals Rebearth Eco friendly Fair trade Sandals. The soles of these sandals started their journey to you by covering thousands of miles of East African rough roads transporting goods and humanitarian aid in 10 tonne trucks. When they reached the end of their useful life they are collected by the manufacturers in Nairobi, Kenya. Here a small band of workers, operating a co-operative, cut and mould them by hand in the workshop to convert them into these wonderful eco-sandals. Locally grown Organic cotton or unworn recycled leather is sewn onto the tyre soles to provide a simple yet stylish finish. As they've pounded the roads of Africa there durability is undeniable now they'll last another life time, yours.
