As an English teacher, I recommend this book to any learner, between lower-intermediate and advanced. The explanations are clear and accurate; and the book's lay-out makes it suitable for studying as well as for reference.

I was rather horrified to discover how incredibly tiny this book was. Seems like a lot of money for such a small thing! I know the dimensions are given but I just didn't look at them as it was a book! How do you get away with selling it for so much money?! Disappointing! Size does matter!

2.0 out of 5 stars REALLY irritating it's only in KIndle 3 Dec. 2013
By Eva
Format:Kindle Edition
Editions that are only available in kindle are practically worthless. No one learning English will get much from flipping through the text and expecting the heart of our language to make much sense. Idioms etc need a teacher , and for that a book. A slim A5 size is the right size, that both teacher and student can pore over. Kindle is not for teaching English! I now use one book and turn the idioms into a text that can be explained to students and distribute this.
