I am an enthusiastic cartoonist, animator and book illustrator. I graduated with Triple Distinction in Multi Media Studies from Hastings College of Art & Technology in the U.K.. I was nominated for and won the Vincent Lines Award for creative excellence. My award winning cartoon animation is called 'Levi's Monkey Mike'. It has been be featured on a BBC documentary about George Formby (Frank Skinner on George Formby - BBC4) I have a number of 'Semantic Sam' Cartoons featured in : Inclusion In The Secondary School, published by NAS (UK) I have illustrated the following books: The Red Beast: Published by Jessica Kingsley in 2008, Making The Move: (,JKP 2009) Learning About Friendship : Stories to Support Social Skills Training in Children with Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism: (JKP 2010) ,From Home to School With Autism: (JKP 2011),The Panicosaurus (JKP 2012) and soon to be published "The Disappointment Dragon." I am both author and illustrator of "I really Don't know Why: A sibling Song to Autism" I have illustrated a number of children's picture book (non ASD related) published by Schiffer Publishing in the USA, these are: "Baby Blue Has the Blues","Ronnie Raven Recycles" and Bertie Bumble Bee:Troubled by the letter "B" .
Haitham has an ASD and communicates best through his art. His book explores his many childhood quirks and celebrates his long-suffering sister's patience. It is full of good-humour and insight, with witty illustrations.
