Amazon.com: 1 review
clear, concise, well argued. 26 Dec. 2005
By Benjamin Rossen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
This is an outstanding book; clear, concise, well argued. In "Reality at Risk" Trigg has marshalled the contemporary history of epistemological ideas into a well rounded essay with an important point to make. What a pity it is out of print. Search around, however, and see if you can find a copy. It is worth it if you want to find a solid, compact and elegant introguction to Theory of Knowledge, cleansed of the intellectual bilge calling itself postmodernism.

This book also makes a clear case for the definition of "metaphysics" to encompass those schools of thought we know as German Idealism. Roger Trigg adroitly shows us the consequences of adopting a definition of metaphysics in the Aristotelian tradition, and his arguments are stronger for it.

Strongly recommended.
