3.0 out of 5 stars Good brush but bulky 26 Mar 2014

This is a good quality brush which works well, however the handle is bulkier and heavier than that of my usual brush (the purpose of retractable brushes to me is so they can be used on the go) so I have had to mark it down a star. I bought it thinking it'd be ideal for taking away on holiday but my usual brush will actually take up less room in my make-up bag. It's still a good brush if this isn't important to you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Retractable Bronzer Brush 25 Mar 2014
By Mimsie
I love the packaging and colour of this brush. It is quite large and fat in size and the bristles are very dense which means when it's washed it does take a couple of days to dry. It's great for on the go as you can load it with product, put the lid on, and put in your bag ready to use later on in the day.

3.0 out of 5 stars not the best, not the worst 15 Mar 2014

I really really wanted one of these retractable brushes. Real techniques brushes make up most of my brush collection because I find them EXcellent quality. When I saw they made retractable, I jumped on it! The quality of this brush is amazing, as is expected. Duo fibers make it really soft and nice. My problem is the bristles are very long and it's a bit more difficult to work with because of that. I prefer a shorter, denser brush. The cap is solid, I've had it in my bag about a week now and it hasn't fallen off. The brush is VERY large, and I have a small face, so it does take up a lot of real estate in my bag and on my face.. I used it to apply my bronzer and it did an OK job, basically I'll settle for this "on the run" brush but prefer to use a different brush IF time allows. Also, the piece that slides up to collect the bristles is stamped "real techniques" all around, and I feel like it makes it look just a little cheap. That's just my opinion, I'd prefer a more sleek look.
