I've had this a little while now, and I love it. I use it for liquid foundation, concealer and powder using all the different sides of the sponge. I think its best used when wet and I prefer this over my other real techniques foundation brushes.

Excellent product but don't think it'll last too long if being washed after every use. Make sure to dampen (not soak!) the sponge before each use to help blend foundation

Wow. Never thought using a sponge would make such a difference. I can use only a little bit of foundation and the sponge makes it blend so into my skin so it looks like it's my natural face, not make up! haha. I also find that foundation stays in place for much longer when applied with this product. great price too. very happy.

This was good for the first couple of uses.. But every time I cleaned it, it started to deteriorate a bit, which was a shame. It worked really well at applying liquid foundation, concealer and blending blusher. So it definitely does what it says, I was just disappointed with the life span of it. If you don't mind replacing frequently tho then It's a decent enough price! I guess I'm more of a brush/hand girl ;)

great sponge, can be used dry or place in water and it expands and can be used this way which I prefer as you can blend foundation in easily . The shape also means you can get into every part of your face, feels more expensive than it is

I never write reviews but I do feel the need to with this product. I've been trying for so long to find 'the perfect foundation' fair enough the majority of my foundations are drugstore but even using the real techniques brush I still felt that I would be patchy, streaky and not the medium to full coverahe that I wanted but this sponge makes it so even and gives exellent coverage. I would definitely recommend.

I've moved between fingers and brushes for foundation application, swearing by the efficacy of both in their turn, but recently my skin has been doing the unthinkable. After years of battling with oily skin it has decided to become combination, but as my body has never been well behaved it's combination oily/dry, not oily/normal leaving me with a battle against flakiness.

This new dryness means that foundation can get 'caught' around the tiny dry bits and look 'rough' and patchy, so as well as changing moisturisers (which has helped) on the advice of youtube gurus I thought I'd give a beauty blender type product a go. I wasn't willing to pay the price of the actual 'beauty blender' (from about £12 and more for a small piece of sponge... I don't think so!), I was even a bit doubtful about the £4ish cost of this product but I'm glad I got it.

The technique used to apply foundation with this makes a big difference if you have dry skin. Hand application, or brushes use a sweeping, or buffing motion which further lifts the tiny particles of dry or rough skin making any issues with product 'gathering' around the area more visible. The press and or roll action using this 'scuffs' up the surface of the skin far less and gives a nice sheer application which can be built up further if required. The shape allows it to get into all the little nooks and crannies around the nose etc easily. I don't usually bother moistening the sponge as I tend to use silicone based primers and water doesn't work particularly well with silicones, but it works well with my water based foundation. Even when dry it doesn't seem to wastefully absorb excessive amounts of product. I'll probably continue to alternate using this with fingers and or brushes depending on foundation, mood and condition of skin, but I can recommend this product as a very good complexion sponge. I can't compare it with the beauty blender, obviously, as I've never tried the other.

This is fantastic once you get the hang of using it. I give it a few squeezes under the tap and then scrunch it in a towel so that it is mostly dry before applying foundation in a dabbing motion. Gives a really flawless finish. Mine is looking a bit worn from daily use but I think I will repurchase soon.
