This toy uses foam to replace wood in a construction system. Now you can learn how to create and build using safe tools and non splintering easy to cut "kid wood". Put down those video games and pick up a hammer saw and nails and spend an afternoon building things from the imagination. Kids will be engaged for a long time learning how to master using a saw or drill and they all love to hammer. You can really see their pride when they create things from their mind from scratch with their hands. Learn hand and mental skills while having fun-

The instructions are a little vague, but the web site says they will have "how to" videos soon, and some How2 videos have been posted on YouTube (US).

I suggest buying refill packs, that way if a little one makes a mistake there are fewer tears, because a replacement piece is nearby. They sets come with enough wood to create several items, but some of the projects you have to use all the material.

Let's get back to the idea that when you need something done... you pick up a hammer and figure out how to do it.
...and as any craftsman will tell you working with your hands is good for the mind and soul.

Incredible value for money! I bought this kit for my three year old grandson so that he could help his granddad construct a birdhouse. He absolutely loved sawing the wood and banging in the nails. The tools provided (saw and hammer) are really sturdy. I've bought two more kits to put by for my grandsons when they're older and can manage the projects for themselves.

An excellent kit for enthusiastic would be carpenters but the kit does not contain any proper instructions and these need to be downloaded from the computer. Having done this we would have hoped for an easy to follow guide for a six year old. To be able to make any of the suggested models an adult would have to do the measuring for a young person as there are too many complicated odd sizes and diagrams. Centimetres or inches without the fractions would be more simple to follow. Hammering is OK on a flat surface but joining columns is rather bouncy and difficult. Having said that, the kit is just right for sawing and hammering for young children top get experience.
