Lynn Williams' book on CV writing is excellent. I work with a lot of people in handling job change and recommend it to my clients because it provides opportunity for creativity as well merely conveying information. Lynn provides a whole series of "Readymade CVs" and loads of space for you to be yourself in applying for that crucial appointment. Buy it!

Can't say this was the best book on creating a CV. Most of it is either common sense or regurgitating the fact that a CV should be no more than 2 pages.
If you are just starting out in the job market this book might benefit you but if you have an already strong CV you won't find anything new here.
Lastly, although this book is boasts The Times on the cover I couldn't help feel an overall American format to the CV's (but maybe that's just me).

Not very helpful book. Got some great tips but most of it was useless and outdated info.
