Don't get me wrong. I am a fan on Republica. I own both their albums and think their both pretty cool. They haven't aged particularly well, but they still have catchy hooks, and Saffrons voice is enough to win anyone over. My problem with this album is the fact that here we have an album of greatest hit's from a band that has only ever released 2 LP's?!!! Whats the point. If your a fan get em both, you may as well, its not like you'll be making a huge saving on material like you would for some bands greatest hits (Blur cramming 6 LPs worth, Manic Street Preachers cramming 6 aswell). The only other band I know of to release a greatest hits from two albums worth of material was All Saints......not good company to keep eh?!! Get their first album if you want the bulk of material, you'll find both in your local bargain bin though.

I totaly agree with the above review. I am from the UK and in my opinion there is no point to this album. Just buy "Republica" and "Speed Ballads". Republica fans go to www.freewebs.com/republica - great site

So ok, they had like 3 hits and didn't last long, but there is something really good about this album, especially Holly and Get Off With You in addition to the 3 big hits. Has it aged well, perhaps not but if you liked the main hits then you will love this album.
