An in-depth Bible study programme for churches and individuals.

Read, Mark, Learn is a group Bible study course developed over a number of years at one of London’s leading churches, St Helen’s, Bishopsgate.

Already being used by numerous churches around the country, it covers key questions and themes of Christian belief by studying a whole book of the Bible: teaching those who study the courses to know God’s word and purpose for their lives.

This course covers 30 studies from Paul’s Letter to the Romans: potential material for a year. Each study provides: the context of the passage, its aim, structure and any Old Testament background needed. It looks at the meaning of each section, highlighting key issues and practical application.

It also gives suggested questions to enable group leaders to lead a complete study.

From the Back Cover

'Read, Mark, Learn' is a series of small group Bible studies that aims to equip people to study God's word for themselves, and so to know His purpose for their lives

Books of the Bible are studied in their entirety, in the belief that as God's word is taught in context, so His voice is heard. This set of 23 studies on 'The Letter to the Romans' provides notes for leaders of small groups, to help them in their preparation.

Each study provides notes on:
• the context, structure and aim of the passage
• Old Testament background
• the meaning of each part of the text, with key themes highlighted
• practical applications
• suggested questions for leading a study

A separate section at the back of the book contains questions that can be photocopied for group members to prepare in advance, so that they are equipped to make the most of each study.

'Read, Mark, Learn' has been developed over an umber of years by one of London's leading churches, St Helen's, Bishopgate, and is used by numerous churches nationally and internationally.

5.0 out of 5 stars Getting to the heart of the message 28 Dec 2001
By A Customer
This is one of the best books I've encountered to help me get into the message of the Bible. Read Mark Learn Romans works systematically through the letter to Rome, examining its message in context with helpful summaries and notes. Each section also includes questions left unanswered by the argument of the text so far and provides a set of about a dozen questions to help get into the message of the text in question.
Ideal for anyone wanting to study Romans alone or in a group.
Essential for Bible study group leaders it also provides guidance for preparing to lead the studies. The principles learnt and modelled by using this study guide can be transfered to any book of the Bible.
RML makes this great letter of Paul accessible and understandable
