1.0 out of 5 stars Useless, 12 Dec 2010
This review is from: You Can Read a Face Like a Book: How Reading Faces Helps You Succeed in Business and Relationships (Paperback)
Having read half of this pathetic tome, I threw it away. A big chunk of it was about palmistry, not face-reading. And I found the face-reading bits lame in the extreme. Thick lips or slant-eyes are features of certain races, yet the author ignores this and implies that all Africans, or all Asians, are of a particular personality type. Useless!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Read, 11 Oct 2010
This review is from: You Can Read a Face Like a Book: How Reading Faces Helps You Succeed in Business and Relationships (Paperback)
A good book that gives away the basics of face reading. I feel she could have given you a lot more information and perhaps was holding back so you'd go to one of her lectures or get a personalized reading. Rose Rosetree's book gives you a lot more information on the topic, so I suggest perhaps starting on this book then going on to Rose's book, but if you want to save the money and go for one book, definitely go for Rose's.

I was under the impression that this was about reading thoughts and emotions by expressions of the face, like a condensed form of body language. Instead its simular to palmistry, just a load of hippy nonsense saying stuff like having a square chin means you are good at debating. Steer well clear unless you are gullible enough to believe in this stuff.

I'm putting it right back into the box it came in and getting my money back.
