    My daughter was bought this last Christmas (when she was just three) and she loves it, along with all her friends. Now whenever a friend comes over it's the first thing they want to play, and they're learning while they're doing it - who could ask for more. The two sides of the cards are brilliant, the kids can more or less do the easy ones on their own, and the hard ones are good for me to play alone with my daughter and concentrate on helping her get the more difficult letters!
    Kids even seem to get a kick from just sitting and opening the doors at random with the key to find the balls.

    I bought this game last summer for my boy's 4th birthday. His 18 month old sister was able to join in straight away. She has now just turned 2 and enjoys playing with me even when he is not around and can now identify A, B and C!, although she needs help with the numbers. A fun way to teach turn taking with small children and they are working together to get the treasure so they don't get too upset about who found the last ball. Using the additional cards, we were able to play this game with his 6 and 7 year old cousins.

    I would set the age range of this game a bit lower. It is perfect for children 2-4 who are getting to grips with numbers, colours and letters. It is so hard to find a fun game for them in this age range and they absolutely love it. The children have to find a door which matches the colour, number or letter on their card and then open the door with the key. Enough balls open the treasure chest. It is really educational, whilst still being really good fun. It has the added bonus of not being competitive, there are no winners or losers and the children can enjoy each others success. I just wish I had bought this sooner or they did more advanced cards to go with it to increase the challenge as the children progress.
    Well worth buying if your child is at this stage of learning!!!!
