Product Description

Dante Moore reveals what men think and why, providing insight into male actions and behaviours which might once have been seen as judgmental, insensitive or just plain brutish. With refreshing candour, Moore persuades women to take a step back and think about their interactions with the opposite sex, whether in conversation, friendship or sexual encounters. This mature and open-minded account will help readers understand and appreciate the male point of view like never before. The perfect guide to what's going on inside the minds and hearts of ''good men''.

Dante Moore is a man with some pretty serious issues with women, and, failing to see that the common factor in all his relationships going wrong is him, has decided that women need to change. Sadly, this book isn't satire.

So, why the four stars? Well, me and my chums just spent a weekend reading his book to one another and I have laughed so much I'm hoarse. If you don't feel guilty laughing at the unfortunate, then this book is the best value entertainment you will come across all year. The only downside is, he gets a royalty from your purchase, which may reinforce his conviction that he's some sort of visionary, and encourage him to subject the world to more of his philosophy.

A bit like dwarf tossing, this guilty pleasure may not be for everyone.

In one of the Harry Potter novels, there's a reference to a cursed book that makes everybody who reads it talk in verse for the rest of their lives. "The Re-Education of the Female" is a bit like that, except that it will make you talk like a Samuel L Jackson character for the rest of the evening.

Dante Moore is an African-American writer with an articulate, forthright and fantastically unwitting revelatory style. This guy doesn't just write from the heart, most of the time he appears to write directly from his stream of consciousness. And the result is top quality entertainment. TV producers, this man is a potential star. Really. He's crying out for his own daytime show in which each week he can harangue guest chicks on why they need to lose weight, ditch some of that attitude, put out and shut up. On cable, obviously.

PS I suspect this is a review of the same volume as the previous Amazon reviewer.

Absolute comedy gold. 27 Oct 2008
By Davywavy2 VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback
In the 1980's, back when he was funny, Lenny Henry created a character called Theophilus P. Wildebeeste, an outrageously sexist soul singer who was utterly unable to edit what his brain thought before it came out of his mouth.
I thought of this the other day when I was handed a copy of "The Re-education of the female". Only the fact that the name of the author and his picture were on the book stopped me being convinced that it was some sort of spoof, possibly written by Henry in his Wildebeeste persona. But no.

Dante Moore calls himself "The Re-Educator", and sees it as his given role to tell women - especially single ones - what it is they are doing wrong when it comes to getting and keeping a man. He claims that his book comprises everything he has ever learned about men, women and their relationships. I don't agree, as reading the book makes it abundantly clear that he could have done that in about four pages.
Sadly for him, Dante has not written an intelligent self-help book. He has instead unintentionally written what may well be the funniest book I've ever read in my life. "The Re-Education of the Female" is not a book to be read cover-to-cover, or on your own - it would rapidly get depressing were you to do that. Rather, it is a book to be read with a group of friends, opening it at random and reading out choice excerpts in silly voices because - and you have my cast-iron guarantee on this - every single page of the book has at least one laugh-out-loud moment on it.
Trust me: I just spent an entire weekend doing this and it didn't get old once. It's the cheapest entertainment you'll find on Amazon.
