Many have heard Bob Holroyd’s music but few will have realised who he is. His music has featured extensively on tv and in films including Lost, The Sopranos, Friends, The Secret Millionaire, Panorama, Coast, Horizon, The Nutty Professor, My Best Friend's Wedding and the Ace Ventura films. For fans of high quality world electronica he is a household name. He first became known when Coldcut released an epic mix of the already epic ‘African Drug’ in the 90s. Since then he has gone onto release eight albums including the current three CD series ‘RE:’. This edition ‘RE:Act’ is a collection of club mixes, re:mixes and uptempo rarities included re:mixes by Coldcut, Nitin Sawhney and Frederic Galliano. The accompanying albums are ‘RE:’, a ‘greatest hits’ of tracks from the first four albums and ‘RE: Lax’ which contains new mixes, re-workings and previously unre:leased downtempo material.
