ABSOLUTELY EXPLOSIVELY AMAZINGLY FROM THE BEST NEW BAND OF 2004!

This DVD is a full run through of The BRIXTON ACADEMY 9/10/04 gig which i unfortunately missed. It was a great gig though and thanks to this DVD i can watch it over and over again.
I managed to make it to the Alexandra Palace gig in March of 2005 and again i couldn't find words for it. This band are just too good.

Johnny Borrell is the best live singer i have ever heard. Every note Nearly all of the songs are from the 5-STAR rated 'Up All Night' which was the best album of 2004. Razorlight also played the Bside to the amazing 'Somewhere Else' which is called 'Keep the right Profile,' plus in the encore 'Just can't explain.'

The gospel singers in 'Golden Touch' do a great job. I have to say this is one the best live songs, Johnny sweating like a dog with his top off. Amazing. But his words mean something to him, which through his emotion mean something to us!

The extra features are just as good. They include all the videos Razorlight have produced including the two 'Rip it Up' versions.
The extra performances are great too. I admit 'Heartbreak Soup' is not the best of songs as it is only a soundcheck but 'Yeah,Yeah, Yeah' is great as it was a secret gig. You can see the crowds emotions, a man at the front shouting every word.
The best extra track though is the guerilla gig at the rooftop of the Bricklayes Arms where the band play 'Golden Touch.' It also shows the before gig scenes of fans on the roof being told to 'get off or the band won't play!' Well they did play amd it was great.

This band are surely here for years to come and thank the lord for that. Amazing, compelling music.

Just can't wait for the new album, but with tasters like 'Somewhere else' im sure it will be amazing.

Johnny Borrell is very talented. This DVD is worth it! Johnny really loves his crowd. He runs around shirtless and his performances are very intense! This DVD contains not only an excellent gig but also 7 music videos and 3 rare and wonderful exclusives!
An Incredible Live Concert + Lots More 4 Jun 2006
By Richard R. Carlton - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD
This is an absolutely great live concert with additional material that provides nearly all Razorlight's video catalog to date.

Razorlight seems to remain somewhat unknown in the U.S. so this is a spectacular interlude while we wait for a tour and new album release.

The concert on this DVD is a full length show that was recorded at the Brixton Academy on 9-10-04 with 15 tracks. It remains one of the best live shows on DVD I've ever seen with lots of great interaction among the band, an enthusiastic UK crowd, and spectacular performances by everyone.

There are also 7 videos that pretty much compose their entire video catalog to date: Rock N Roll Lies, Rip It Up, Stumble and Fall, Golden Touch, Vice, Rip It Up (different version), and Somewhere Else

Then, there are 3 additional live clips featuring Heartbreak Soup; Yeah, Yeah, Yeah; and Golden Touch (from the Bricklayers Arms rooftop)
