The Razor E100 is the perfect electric scooter for young teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. A superb mixture of cool design and tough build the E100 has a 20cm pneumatic front tyre and an ergonomic riding deck.
Boasting a powerful chain-driven, high-torque motor that can reach speeds of 10 mph. But don’t worry about the noise this Electric powered Scooter engages a super quiet chain driven motor applauded by neighbours everywhere.
Unlike Razor's E300S scooters -whose motor start from a standing position - the E100 requires a small manual kick off to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once the rider is on the move, however, the electric motor kicks in - fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace.
And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch.
Recommended for ages 8 and up, the E100 will support a rider up to a weight of 54kg. Some assembly required.

I bought this for my son's 8th birthday as a surprise, he plays out a lot on his bike and go kart and I thought this would be something a little different. I've no doubt he'll be the envy of the street with this! The price was excellent, £50 less than argos/toys r us and arrived swiftly and well boxed. Set up is simple, click handlebars in, and switch on. Ours came with charge already in so it was ready to go. It is heavier than I thought it would be, but I guess this means it is very sturdy and well made. I have had a little try myself and it seems quick. But thats to me, I'm sure the boy will be wizzing about with no probs at all, although I will be sticking his helmet on to use it. All in all, a very good product, for a very good price through Amazon. I wish they'd made these when I was younger!

This scooter was something my 11-year-old son wanted to buy with the money he saved. Me and his dad were worried that he could've been disappointed. I am glad to say that we worried for nothing. It works fantastic, charges quick and gets him to school and back. He is really happy with it and his friends are impressed. It is already in their christmas list.
