I'm not going to flame the people who 1* this product instead offer a differing opinion.
To the review that said the cursor jumps around etc well I suspect that there are several possible explanations either the mouse itself was faulty, the system was faulty, you were using it on a glass desk without a pad or simply Logitech fanboyism.
To the other negative review. I can honestly see where you are coming from the drivers and app are less than intuitive and takes a while to work out how to set up macro's I would suggest updating the firmware and drivers to the newest.
The ergonomics are something some people don't have a problem with and some do I have used a Razer Pro 1.6 since it came out years ago and remeber that it took a while to get used to but I used it for years and any other mouse I tried just didn't quite measure up. The Lachesis is recommended if you understand the kind of mouse you are buying if you don't think this style/shape of mouse if for you then I emplore you to check out the Death Adder it's shaped for right handed people and has far better drivers and the side buttons also work slightly better.
I'm pleased with this mouse but at the same time know it isn't the be all and end all especially if you have already got a Diamond Back or Copper head and are happy with that.
Happily I am getting used to this mouse UT3 titan pack being released helped as nothing will get you used to something quicker than a game as fast paced as this. which brings me onto my last point. This is a mouse for shooter fans if you love your RTS games I really do think a more comfortable mouse would be the order of the day so the Death adder is the superior product. I guess that what I'm saying is the Lachesis is great for me and for others but given my time again I would have plumped for a Death Adder and I encourage you to do the same.
There's simply to many problems to make this worth buying, the sensor skips, 3 of my buttons have broke, every now and again I'll have to unplug the mouse to get it to work again, randomly it'll only move horizontal or vertical, when it worked it was a good mouse it's just a shame razer used really cheap parts to make it.
I bought this mouse and my expectations was really high, because im a true gamer but since i start to use the mouse i saw some imperfections.Like the cursor time to time jumping, so if u are looking for a precision mouse for your games dont buy this one.And offcourse for the price of the lachesis we really want precision.I dont recommend this one .
