Product Description

Product Description

The Razer Naga Hex features 6 large mechanical thumb buttons specially optimized for MOBA and action-RPG user interfaces. Every pro-gamer can map their 6 favored spells, abilities, and items to these buttons for rapid actuation.

In action-RPG and MOBA games, intensive clicking is necessary to deliver relentless blows on one’s enemies. So pro-gamers need a mouse that can keep up. The Razer Naga Hex utilizes special switches that lasts up to 10 million clicks. It also accurately registers up to a whopping 250 clicks per minute, perfect for those with lightning fast reflexes.

Razer Synapse 2.0 is cutting-edge intuitive proprietary software that functions as the Razer Naga Hex’s brain – automatically syncing the gaming mouse to a cloud server to download driver and firmware updates, as well as save individual gamer settings without you needing to lift a finger. Specifically for the Razer Naga Hex, Razer Synapse 2.0 capabilities will be expanded to store settings for a custom Razer in-game UI designed just for MOBA and action-RPG players.

I bought this for my boyfriends 19th birthday, as he plays league all the time, and I was a bit stuck on what to get him. I picked this mouse, and im asked one of his closets friends what he thought of it, and apparently it was a good quality mouse, so I went ahead and bought it, despite it being a bit expensive. My boyfriend received all his other gifts from family members and I gave this to him last, and I honestly thought he was going to cry. He loves using the mouse, says the clicking on it is good, the 1-5 on the side are useful as he now only has to reach to his keyboard to use something or other league related. I was a tad worried as it looked quiet small and he has big ish hands, but he says the mouse is quite 'nimble', and although it's not on the big side, it's easier to use and it fits nicely in the palm of his hand. He's over the moon with it, and assures me that it's the best gift he's ever received.

For a MOBA player, this mouse is a godsend, even for non-League players (I prefer the LoL mouse's design over the red/green naga hex mice.), the free skin is icing on the cake - though Tryndamere isn't really a champion that works well in the game at the moment (subject to change, obviously).

The mouse itself feels nice, and despite having big hands, feels comfortable to use in a kind-of-claw grip. The real strength of this mouse is not just the buttons, but the design of them. Many mice have their buttons in a grid format, but this mouse has them in more of a circle. This gives your thumb a place where it can safely rest, as opposed to resting it on the buttons itself - which could result in accidental presses. The buttons themselves are easily pressed, having a nice audible and slightly tactile feedback on the click, and (as with any mouse with side buttons) has a slight learning curve, but with it, your items are easily activatable without the need to rebind your keys, due to the buttons being programmable as your top row's (1234567890-=) 123456. The buttons can easily be switched to use 123456 on the numpad's keys however, by means of a slider under the mouse (that is stiff enough to require a not insignificant amount of force - meaning NO accidental switching to numpad mode).

The mouse however is somewhat on the smaller side (seemingly a theme with a lot of razer's mice), and if you are more comfortable with a palm grip and find claw grip to be somewhat uncomfortable, this may be a no-sell, though the mouse isn't so tiny as to require serious hand contortion (~7cm wide, ~12cm long). Another slight complaint is the lighting (which pulsates, a constant light would be preferable on the League of Legends logo), however the lights can be turned off with the free razer software.

Have had a lot of mice over the years and this is the most comfortable, responsive and useful mouse of them all.

Had to start looking for a new mouse after my Razer Naga's left mouse button began to get stiff. This mouse felt a lot more precise, although I did get a new mousemat to go with it, and the grip is just as comfortable as the naga.

The big difference is that your "forward" and "back" buttons are located beneath the mouse wheel, so your fingers need to re-adjust their habits to use those.

Adjusting to the 1-6 wheel takes time, it's so easy to accidentally press it at first but the tactile center makes it easy to rest your thumb and make sure you know where you're pressing.

Clicking sounds and feels great and the mouse wheel feels very smooth. Definitely worth it.
