The Razer DeathStalker gaming keyboard delivers merciless power with its slim keycaps designed for shorter travel distance and rapid-fire actuations. Your fingers will be flying across the low-profile keys at lightning speed and in comfort, executing commands for your master plan faster than enemies can react. Unlike traditional keyboards that can only register up to three simultaneous key presses, the superior anti-ghosting technology built into the Razer DeathStalker allows up to 10 simultaneous key presses to obliterate the competition more effortlessly. Every key actuated at the same time will respond accurately in-game with zero lag.
At the Centre of Control
Fire up your lightning fast reflexes and competitive instincts with a fully back-lit gaming keyboard designed for blazing fast actuations, empowering you to unleash as many commands and macros as there are fingers on both your hands. Give no quarter with the Razer DeathStalker.
Fully Programmable Slim Chiclet Keycaps
The slim 2 mm chiclet keycaps on the Razer DeathStalker ensure less time is needed to actuate each key so you can react faster to situations and enemies. Your fingers can move quickly between the keys, ensuring your entire master plan for gaming domination is executed instantly.
Individually Backlit Keys
Whether you’re gaming under low-light, or no light, individually backlit keys ensure you never misclick – after all, it could very well be the difference between victory and death.
10 Key Rollover in Gaming Mode
Actuate as many keys as you have fingers, and have all of them register accurately and quickly in-game. With the Razer DeathStalker’s anti-ghosting capabilities, you can deliver overwhelming destruction to your opponents, and ensure that every command is registered and executed perfectly.
Ride into the Gaming Zone
Strip away all distractions and focus fully on the game, when you can disable the Windows key. You’ll never miss a crucial in-game moment if you’re not accidentally switching out to the desktop.
Razer Synapse Enabled
Razer Synapse is the cutting-edge intuitive proprietary software that functions as the Razer DeathStalker’s brain, automatically syncing the gaming keyboard to a cloud server to download driver and firmware updates, while saving your individual settings. Sync your custom settings and macros automatically with this unified configurator, allowing customisation of all your Razer products with a single login.
Ergonomic Palm Rest
The Razer DeathStalker gaming keyboard has been designed with an integrated palm rest, so your wrists are supported as you WASD your way to victory, or stay up all night typing out that comprehensive ninety-page strategy for your clan’s next tournament.
I love this keyboard. It's joy using it. It feels great typing with it, the green backlight is very bright (configurable), and it has some cool features like the gaming mode and those macros.
Every single key is completely customizable. For example: you can switch the Y and Z keys, if you're not using the UK system language.
Also the palm rest is awesome. Your hands won't slip off, and like I've said before- feels great while using it.
About the shipment...it took them 1 week to get the item from UK to Central Europe, which is OK IMO. They've sent me the exact time of arrival, and it came on that day.
And after all...this is Razer we're talking about. So you can count on it.

Well I spend some time looking at keyboards as had the whole conversation as to which is best mechanical or a low profile keyboard. I have found this keyboard to be excellent. I play a lot of FPS, RTS and MMOs and so you can program the macro keys for different commands through the downloaded software. It has a good feel to it and I have some friends who have seen it and are now considering purchasing it for themselves. Great job.

Upon setting my new keyboard up I expected it to be the beginning of a long and happy relationship. Six weeks later it is in a box and has been replaced by a Corsair mechanical keyboard.
For sure it is a beautiful keyboard. Sharp styling and cool backlighting. However I have been unable to get used to the key action, which to me feels cheap and unresponsive. Even though the keys are very low profile they still have a 'mushy', imprecise feel to them. Gaming is OK but not much better than a £10 membrane keyboard. Typing performance is poor compared to any mechanical keyboard. I had wrongly assumed the keys would feel like a quality laptop or my previous low-profile keyboard (Logitech dinovo); sadly this is simply not the case.
From the positive reviews on here it is clear that many owners are happy with the key action. But as the satisfied owner of multiple Razer mice this keyboard has left me disappointed.

After searching for hours and hours for a new keyboard that would be comfy, easy to use, professional and double up as a great gaming keyboard I am more than impressed. As I've never really shopped for keyboards before, I was quite shocked at the prices and even after purchase I doubted how any keyboard could justify the price. Furthermore I had read in many places that many gaming accessories for computer where just complete rubbish and no good at all, so again I was still sceptical. After receiving the package I was nothing short of blown away. Even opening the box was fun. Everything is of such high quality you really get what you pay for, not only is this a great gaming keyboard with so many functionalities, the typing is incredible, I've never typed so well in my life, I didn't think it was possible even after using my Macbook pro with claimed to have the easiest keyboard to type on. It's extremely comfy and I am just generally blown away. Definitely a great buy. I don't think a review would be complete without faults though, the only disadvantages I see is that I can't seem to get it to co-operate with mac fully, (some keys don't work, have other functions e.t.c) and it is rather large, so I wouldn't recommend for small spaces, keys are relatively normal size and backlight is great.

I was bored so I bought one of these to replace my low profile Logitech keyboard
The fact that this keyboard has low profile keys is very nice, it makes typing and gaming require so much less effort.
As with any other Razer product, you should use Razer Synapse 2.0 to get the best out of it. Through this is was able to rebind the useless right click button to task manager, the scrolllock button to mute mic and create create profiles for all my games.
The backlight is amazingly bright and the famous Razer green colour.
However, it is expensive, especially when you consider it isn't mechanical. Another issue I occasionally get is when I'm playing an fps and the keyboard jams, requiring me to unplug and replug it.
Edit: Built a new computer and no longer seem to have jamming issue, probably a problem with the port or motherboard.

Having used it since its arrival, I can honestly say that the Razer DeathStalker Expert Gaming Keyboard is among the best keyboards I have ever used. Probably only going to be surpassed by the Mac keyboards. The build quality is perfect, as expected, the software (Synapse 2.0) is great for beginners and hard-core gamers alike and it is just fantastic to use.
However, if I was to make complaints: 1. The keys, while they are Chiclet keys, they are still loud. It is not the audible ‘click’, more just the contact between finger and key. It is not nearly as loud as a regular mechanical keyboard however! 2. The cord from the keyboard is not braided, meaning that it might not last as long if this is intended for a lot of moving (LAN parties and the likes). 3. There are no dedicated macro keys. As a gamer, this was something I was looking for but decided it was not a necessity because I will purchase the Naga or Logitech’s G600 in order to get the extra few buttons.
Really, these are the only things I see missing from this keyboard. They are not really complaints, more observations. While a USB port on the keyboard would have been a nice addition, it would still take up an extra port on your PC, so it is really just for practicality.
All in all, it is an excellent product. As a Razer product, it lives up to its expectations and I am extremely happy with my purchase. If the 3 points previously made are not a deal-breaker for you, this is a excellent keyboard. The ‘Made for Gamers’ approach for all Razer products may deter you, this is a great keyboard for general tasks too! I will be using it for a lot of college work and a lot of general typing! (Including this review)
I would most definitely recommend this product. Enjoy your purchase!
