These saucepans are very elegant looking and of excellent quality. I wanted heavy saucepans so their weight is no issue for me. I have been using them on induction hob and I am pleased with the even heat distribution. Also like the fact that the handles do not get hot and that the edge of the saucepans is nicely flared to allow drip-free pouring. I tried to wash one of the saucepans in the dishwasher just to see whether the copper gets discoloured - and it did. However, with a little bit of stainless steel cleaning paste this was easily brought back to its original colour (although not as shiny). But because they are easy to clean, I'd stick to hand wash.
Over all - well worth the 5 stars!

Recently bought these to replace an old but incredible set. We've had Prestige copper-base pans for almost 25 years. They have been used, abused, dropped, crushed (don't ask), burnt to charcoal and even on a couple of memorable occasions, set on fire. After soaking and a quick scrub the pans have recovered every time and in fact look almost as good as new, but the handles are now slightly dodgy. Our eldest daughter has her eye on these fantastic quality pans for when she leaves home, she has seen first-hand how a completely burnt out pan can be restored and leave no evidence! A couple of years ago we bought a Stellar set, and although they look brilliant and weren't cheap, they didn't live up to expectations so we put them away again and went back to the old ones. That's second daughter happy, she likes shiny new things.
We went to a few quality cookshops and finally saw these which are as close to the original pans as we could find. They are very very heavy, a good sign (unless you have weak wrists) and the handles are properly riveted onto the pans, which should make them less likely to work loose over the years. These pans are excellent quality, cook evenly and clean up beautifully if you look after them. We particularly like the fact that they have steel handles as well so you can put them in the oven for a slower cook, great! The kids haven't managed to burn anything in them yet so I can't tell whether the pans will survive that sort of treatment.
We have discovered that you get what you pay for with saucepans, and these are excellent quality. If they last as long as the our original copper-base pans we'll be happy!

I used to be a chef and have worked in some of the top London five star hotels, so I appreciate good quality pans which these are.
I wanted a set of pans which would last for some time, I am fed up with cheap rubbish and was looking to get away from Teflon type pans as no matter how well you look after then the Teflon does eventually wear off. I like a set of pans that the longer you use them the better they become.
These pans are slightly on the heavy side compared to cheap ones but not overly heavy, both I and my wife find them manageable. They are not as heavy as some brands I have used in the past.
They are easy to clean. I have been using them for a couple of weeks and they still look new.
I did look at Le Creuset but they are astronomically expensive, after using these I cannot see how Le creuset can justify the extra cost. These in my opinion are very good value for a durable set of pans that if used correctly will give many years of service if not a life time.
They are a pleasure to use.
If you are looking for a set of good quality pans at an affordable price then these should be high on your list.
I added a 28cm Meyer sauté pan and a 35cm French Skillet pan as I often have between 8 to 24 people round. I'm well pleased with my purchase.
The only down side is the frying pan in the set has a Teflon base which I was trying to get away from but I am prepared to give it a go.

very high quality cookware. Made a total mess of a pan boiling it dry with a bamboo steam tray in it, the saucepan looked as if it was ruined, soaked it in some laundry liquid and hey presto, gave it a good scrub and it is as good as new.

These saucepans come in a good range of sizes and have well fitting lids.

The bottom does discolour in the dishwasher and also leaves a greyish tinge on the inside of the pan so it is advisable to wash by hand. Despite having metal handles they don't get so hot you can't handle them.

Would recommend these for anyone who wants a good quality set of pans.
