I fell in love with this show watching clips from the internet. The acting is amazing and the story lines are great. I wish I could get this series in the US. I bought an all regions DVD player just for this DVD. I love it at I hope Series 2 and 3 are released on DVD soon.

Even though Im a big fan of Raw now I never watched the first series. It was brilliant to watch this series as it portrays what life is like working inside a busy kitchen in a busy restaurant in Dublin city. Geoff played by Damon Gameau is brilliant and you have to love Jo-Jo played by Charlene McKenna who is a terrific actress. Im just hoping they release Series 2 & Series 3 sometime soon.

Bought this after seeing the first few episodes of the series and missing the remainder. Well worth the watch. Being Irish I have seen many poor attempts at drama over the years on Irish television. This is definitely not the case here.

Could not find this DVD anywhere, contacted RTE, the series creator who said it was never released on DVD but was sure I had seen it in some shops a few years back, great series, much better than series 2 which was tamed down for RTE 1, first series was broadcast for much younger audience of RTE 2. Hope they make another series!!

Having watched this series since the beginning it was a nice surprise that it was after all available on dvd. I had searched for this in Ireland for some time with no success and then one look on Amazon and there it was.

For the uninitiated RAW is a gritty yet humourous look at the lives of a restaurant staff and the pressures they encounter. The acting is superb and the storyline is both interesting and believable.

If you haven't seen this, make sure you do.

Roll on the dvd release of season 2

I really enjoyed this tv series.. great characters, nice story.. What more could one want?
I hope they'll release series 2 and upcoming series 3 on dvd eventually...
