One of my little Papillons was dying a slow and horribly agonising death for years. She suffered constantly with stomach problems and the cost of vet treatments, surgery and special food was horrendous. By sheer accident I googled dog food and saw this site. I will never look back after reading this book. I came from a farm and quickly remembered how our animals were fed and how healthy they were. I began my two dogs and cat on the raw meaty bones diet immediately and their health improved by leaps and bounds. Now instead of two fragile and constantly sick little dogs I have two healthy and extremely fit little dogs, and it's all due to this man who has ventured to be the animals advocate. Thanks Dr Tom. You saved my pet's lives. I can never express my gratitude enough. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a pet and wants to give them the best.

This book is interesting and well written but doesn't provide enough of a guide to starting out raw feeding. Tom Lonsdale's Works Wonders book is better, this one explains the theory but I didn't find it practical enough to be worth the money and returned it.
