All those brave enough to accept the King's challenge, throw the dice to make their way over to the castle. It is here where the first treasure card is revealed and the hunt begins. Each time a treasure is found, a new card is revealed, until all the King's treasures have been found. The player who has collected the most treasures, is the winner. Enchanted Forest is a fun and clever game of memory and strategy. Families with children aged 6 and up will love hunting the forest for the hidden treasures. On average, each game takes about 20 minutes to play, and is suitable for 2 to 6 players.

I remember this game from when i was young and got it for my 30th birthday... still love it! Having introduced my 7yr old neice to the wonders of board games (instead of the wii) I'm going to get her it for xmas. It can be played time and time again and never loses it's fun value, for kids it can be quite difficult to remember where they saw the tree but you can always adapt and give them 2 chances to guess. Definately a game for all ages.

We got this game for our daughter aged 5 1/2. She loves board games and we have a huge selection at home, but this one is her absolute favourite. The rules are quite sophisticated, but it didn't take her long to understand them, even though the recommended age is 6+.
Basically the game is about memorizing symbols hiding under each tree. A stack of cards is kept at the castle. The top card is shown and that's the symbol everybody has to find. Once you know where the corresponding tree is, you have to make your way to the castle to win the card. It sounds simple, but loads can go wrong in between - other's can throw you out, change the card or just be quicker than you. So the game doesn't only rely on memorizing pictures, but also teaches a great lot about tactics. It is good practice for adding up the points of two dice and requires quite a bit of concentration, since it often lasts up to 30 minutes. Overall an absolute excellent game, that even adults enjoy playing!

I bought this game for my daughter aged 7 to play with us but found it is just too difficult for her to play. Needs a lot of concentration and would be good for older children but then the subject matter would not be suitable!
