This book charts the life path of Madeline as she leaves London searching for something to make her life worthwhile....she travels to Ravens Deep and there meets the mysterious Darius...
I have never read any of the vampire gendre novels and I was surprised that I enjoyed this novel by Jane jordan so much...indeed I could not put it down..well done Jane for this atmospheric novel...I'm off to buy the next instalment!

'Ravens Deep' the story of Madeline leaving a successful career, boyfriend and bright lights of the city to pursue her writing dream in a secluded run-down cottage in Exmoor. There she meets and falls in love with Darius, however, all is not as it seems...... A beautifully written and descriptive book by Jane Jordan which I found difficult to put down. A must for fans of all things vampire and love stories alike. Loved it! Ravens Deep

I can't get enough of Vampire stories, just love them all, and I am always looking for more with a slightly different flair to them, Raven's Deep by Jane Jordan promises and delivers a great story line. Loved the Exmoor location, it has been years since I visited there and this really brought it back to me. Not going to tell you more about the story and how it evolves, just buy it, great Christmas gift. There are very few that actually remain in my bookcase, but this is a 'keeper'. I really hope Ms Jordan has more stories to follow this one, I await in anticipation, and will be the first to buy the next installment. Great job Ms Jordan.

It is about time we had a real vampire story. And this is it. Brilliant stuff. I just read book 2 'Blood & Ashes' and the story continues. Excellent.

Very weak plot
I have to say I completely disagree with the other reviewers - this is full of vampire cliches and awful overdramatic woe-is-me type monologues from the heroine. Read more
