If you like a dark roast and a good punchy flavour, with no bitterness, you need look no further.
On the practical front, these are very well behaved beans. They grind cleanly, in my burr grinder, without coating everything in range with clingy dust. The ground coffee doesn't stick, electrostatically, to the grinder hopper so it pours without mess in to the portafilter. Finally, after extraction it knocks out from the portafilter fairly easily.
After the usual trial and error with grind fineness, grind time and tamping pressure that is required when you try a new bean I have found this coffee to be nice and consistent. It has a good crema and, as others have noted, the rich flavour does not get lost in the milk of a cappuccino. For the price I think this coffee is very hard to beat - it punches well above its weight.
If I had one little wish it would be for the beans to come in 4 x 250 gram packs to keep it in optimal condition. However, the rate that I'm drinking it at probably makes that a frill too far and would almost certainly put the price up.
