1.0 out of 5 stars terrible, awful, bad - and those are the good bits., 8 May 2008
never before have i experienced such unimaginative, uninspired, cliche ridden drivel - and that is the best thing i can possibly say about this collection of songs.
the band is a bad 'guns'n'roses'/'van halen' styled wannabe, without a sense of originality. in essence they think they are rock gods reincarnated - when the truth is far, far, far from that.
the vocals are, quite frankly, dire. the singer sounds like a bad trey parker south park character, or iron maiden half asleep on helium. the lyrics are far from original, essentially rehashing the above named bands, but so sub-standard it made me want to poke my eyes out with a pencil.
the guitarists solos are so over the top it beggars belief. the playing is so wayward it disrupts any flow the (pretty o.k.) rhythm section is trying to create. the riffs just seem to be ripped off from bands they are trying to replicate.

don't waste your money on this CD coaster.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Band with a BITE!, 27 April 2008
By Mr. William E. Wallner "Will Wallner" (Hollywood, CA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Rattlesnake certainly wear their influences on their collective sleeves, with a love of both Guns'N'Roses and Van Halen obvious throughout, but this album is blessed with an energy and vigour that keeps it the right side of hero-worship. Singer Tref Davies has an impressively soulful vocal style, while the accomplished playing sees guitarist Will not afraid to show off their soloing ability - but not to the detriment of the songs' flow. Stand-out number 'Tip Of The Iceberg' is the clearest example of what Rattlesnake have to offer.

4.0 out of 5 stars HARD ROCK IS BACK!!!, 13 May 2008
This band is awesome. Finally a group of young guys who aren't influenced by lame ass trends of today. The guitar solos and vocals are insane. Anyone whos a fan of Hard Rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, Van Halen or Guns N Roses would enjoy this band! Rattlesnake kicks ass!
