Having the original trilogy of Ratchet & Clank on the go in HD may seem like heaven but it's not without it's faults.

Ratchet & Clank 1 is almost perfect and is probably the best port of the three. The main two problems I can find are only annoying and in no means game breaking.
Sometimes the music just randomly stops durning a level and only returns after changing to another planet. As well as that sometimes textures that would be easy to see on the Ps2 & Ps3 such as railings are almost invisible or goes ape.

The real game breaking starts at Ratchet & Clank 2. I have experienced crashes when going to the,"Thugs-4-Less Jamming Array," that you have to complete to advance in the game. I have researched and other people are experiencing this as well.
Mass Media productions who were responsible for the port were contacted by Insomniac Games (The creators of R&C) after fans were reporting this problem, this is nearly three months ago now and still no fix.

Ratchet & Clank 3 has played fine for me but, there is reports of the crashing problem here too.

The controls may get some getting used to as the back touch is used to make Ratchet strafe which is a bit awkward to move with and the camera which can be a real pain durning boss battles.

Three of the best third person shooter action adventure platformers ever made, now on the psvita. Don't be put off by the fact that Mass Media ported the games to the psvita despite their reputation from the horrible Jak and Daxter trilogy porting, this is a very good porting by them and Insomniac (but does have a few flaws).

Ratchet 1, although not as clean graphically as 2 and 3, has been ported well, but with very slight input lag (perfectly playable once you get used to it) and a few annoying sound glitches (particularly from enemy vehicles and weapons like the morph-o-ray and the tesla claw). However I still haven't completed Ratchet 1 yet on the vita because of the lack of checkpoints on Oltanis and Veldin, the high difficulty level especially on the two planets mentioned and the grinding required to earn enough bolts for the RYNO (probably the most insane weapon ever created in the history of videogaming). Also noticeable is the bar when underwater (without the O2 mask) and from weapons such as the suck cannon and morph-o-ray, once not in use the bar does not completely disappear and half remains on the side of the screen, and this is due to the game originally being released in 4:3 ratio, and stretched to 16:9 for the ps3 and psvita ports.

Ratchet 2 port is a improvement compared to 1. 2 looks cleaner and the framerate is smooth without any drops, and is a very good port of a game widely regarded as one of the best games of the ps2 era. HOWEVER... there is one very annoying, almost game breaking glitch which causes the game to crash and shut down back to the vita home screen, and it occurs during travel between planets where there is a cutscene.

Really loved the ratchet and clank series playing them all on the PS2
so was really excited to get them all together on my PS VITA
They are great but do have a lot of glitches and problems that the old PS2 versions did not seem to have such as the game crashing at certain points, sound cutting out, typical small bugs and glitches.
The game was ported pretty poorly and i wish they put more work into it and fixed a bunch of these glitches before releasing it, it feels really rushed out. And the second game freezes at a certain point every single time which makes it impossible to obtain a certain gadget, looking into this on the internet it seems the company that ported the game will not do anything about these problems.

Having owned this game on the PS2, it took up a massive part of my childhood, so when i bought a PS Vita, i saw that this had been released on the Vita, so it would be rude not to buy it for the 3rd time! (I bought it on the PS3 in 2012!). Still as awesome. Although if i'm being honest, the graphics aren't that big a change, given that the graphics on the original were so far ahead of it's time! I honestly can't recommend this highly enough!

I read a lot of reviews about this trilogy and all of em say that it was a terrible porting.. So i bought this game and played all the three games and I have to say that they are terribly wrong.. All the games runs smoothly and the graphics are quite good.. Maybe the controls are not perfect and i'm talking about the rear touchscreen but I definitely recommend this game.

I've currently only played through the first game, but so far I can say that this is a good port with some minor issues here and there. The slight bug I've noticed most of all is that sometimes during a level, the music will stop and then come back when you enter a new level - but that isn't enough to take off a whole star for me.
