Fun:
I have never played ANY Ratchet and Clank Games before,but i took a gamble and purchased this little gem last week.It is a great game.The graphics are really excellent,the different enviroments and planets that you visit are very large..with lots to see and do,plus you can generally find something to smash up within the envioments.The Puzzles in the game are not too tough,and with a few attempts you can master them.There is lots to see and do throughout the game,plus the makers have also included sub menus and some really diverse challenges.The weapons selection is awesome...to many to list here,you can upgrade your weapons throughout the game,and once upgraded they can really punish your enemies.I have given this Game 5 Stars as i think all round that it is fantastic value for money,easy controls,absorbing storyline,and most importantly LOTS of Fun and enjoyment and superb value for money which is what a great game is all about.This game will appeal to all age groups.

Fun:
This has to be the best platformer around! It improves on everything since Ratchet and Clank 3. The graphic are amazing as is the gameplay. It also makes good use of the Sixaxis controler.
The gameplay is similar to the other Ratchet and Clank games (apart from Gladiator) and fans will instantly feel at home. The environments are very impressive as are the weapons and gadgets!
Children and adults will enjoy.

Fun:
Bought this as I had bought A Crack In Time and really enjoyed it.
It is not quite as good from a graphics, control interface or story line perspective.
If you are really into it then ok you will enjoy it, it is a 'good' game and certainly worth the money on the platinum range.
If you have played the newer game you will be a bit dissapointed though. If you haven't buy it, enjoy it, and then buy A Crack In Time.Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time (PS3)

Extremely Cool, but you may need some help to install..
Three years on and in 2011 the Platinum release of Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction still has the same glitch for some PS3 systems.

Great Game
Great game. All round great fun. Just like the PS2 games but better graphics and game play. I have really enjoyed playing this version of the series.

Just so flat and uninspired

Exellent!
The Ratchet and clank games still fascinate me. Superb sound and graphics and one of those games that makes use of every button on the Six-Axis controller including the movement.
