RAPID EYEWEAR MORITZ SKI GOGGLES / SPORT SUNGLASSES
The Moritz are stylish, highly practical and versatile, thanks to the innovative removable side arms that can be replaced with a sturdy strap for extreme sports use.
THE FRAME
Moulded from a high grade polycarbonate, the frame - finished in matt black - is lightweight, and has a wrap-around styling that blocks unwanted light from the peripheries of your vision. Rubber nose pads and side arm inserts enhance comfort levels.
THE LENSES
Rapid Eyewear's Frostech lenses feature an anti-fogging capability, thanks to a special coating applied to the inside surface. Decentred lenses provide optical precision. Improved definition of objects and terrain is achieved through the filtering of blue light.
Moritz has Category 3 lenses fitted, a tint that can best be described as a 'standard' level of sunlight filtering. An anti-scratch coating has been applied to the lenses.
EXTREME SPORTS MODE
In their basic form, Moritz are a highly fashionable pair of wrap-around sports sunglasses. Add the foam windshield insert, unclip the side arms and add the strap and you have a high-specification pair of skiing / climbing / extreme sport sunglasses that will suit beginner and advanced practitioners alike. To switch to Extreme Sports Mode, you simply follow these steps:
1). Unclip the side arms and pull them out
2). Attach the sturdy, wide head strap
3). Adjust the length of the strap to suit
4). Add the optional foam insert
UV PROTECTION AND CONFORMITY
Moritz sunglasses offer 100% UVA / UVB protection and conform to EN 1836 and US Z80.3 standards for safety eyewear.

I bought these for my skiing trip in France earlier this year. I bought these because they seemed like good value for money, and the fact you can change them into sunglasses. I have to say they are excellent, the quality is good and they felt very secure when on the slopes. If I have a slight gripe it would be that the lens can be a little too dark for some conditions, but in normal sunshine it is absolutely fine. Definitely a good alternative to ski googles, because these work well as sunglasses too.

Excellent and versatile product, with remarkable quality considering the price. I don't agree with the other reviewer about the lenses - i think they are perfect for skiing, anyhow that's just my opinion. The strap changes easily and with the foam gasket attached they really are as good as ski goggles. Very good value for money.
Perfect product for those of us who are uncomfortable wearing sunglasses with a ski helmet,dont want goggles but need the flexibility of sunglasses too.
Exactly as they are described by the seller, these glasses easily change out to goggles and back again when required. yes they are a little "plastic" in their look and feel - but perfect for what i needed.

Took them to St Gervais for a weeks skiing, it snowed almost all week and these were fine. Visibility was poor but everyone was experiencing this so no complaints there. Read more
