RAPID EYEWEAR ACE SPORT SUNGLASSES
High grade wrap-around sport sunglasses, with interchangeable lenses, for all light conditions. Part of Rapid Eyewear's original Modelglasses range.
THE FRAMES
Made from a shatterproof TR90 material, the frames feature a wrap-around styling, and house an unbroken, one-piece lens. An adjustable nose pice and rubber side-arm extensions make for a comfortable fit on most sizes and shapes of head. Finished in a crystalised blue colour.
THE LENSES
Ace are supplied with interchangeable lenses for different light conditions, as follows:
* Category 0, light-enhancing
* Category 2, beige polarised, for fairly bright conditions
* Category 3, polarised mirror, for sunny conditions
* Category 4, dark smoked, for extremely bright conditions.
All lenses have vent cut-outs, to provide anti-fogging, anti-scratch coatings and decentred precision optics.
WHAT DO POLARISED LENSES DO?
Glare is caused by sunlight bouncing off horizontal surfaces. Polarised lenses remove this effect by filtering out the horizontal light, thereby providing you with glare-free vision.
ACCESSORIES
The included carry case features belt fixing loops and a catch, plus internal stitched pouches for storing extra lenses. Also supplied are a head securing / neck strap, plus a lint-free cleaning cloth.
CONFORMITY
All Rapid Eyewear sunglasses conform to En1836 and US Z80.3 regulations for sunglasses and, as such, they offer 100% UVA / UVB protection. A sample from each batch is subjected to a drop-test at the factory to ensure they are robust.
WARRANTY & SPARES
These sunglasses come with a one-year warranty - note that spare parts are available should you ever need them.

I'm a cyclist who wears contact lenses which makes my eyes prone to getting sore when I ride. I've bought many pairs of glasses trying to find some that prevent the wind from drying my eyes out. These are the answer. They offer a great fit and the 4 lenses included cover all weather conditions. Highly recommended.

I was looking for sunglasses that I could use for Golf and these seemed to fit the bill. Delivery was very quick and so far I`m impressed. The optics are very clear and the three lenses all seem to do the job (only had for one day). The light intensifying lens is truly impressive if a little odd. Oddly enough they were £10 cheaper via Amazon than direct from the web site even though supplied by the same people.
