I bought this book to compliment the third year BSc Adult Nursing program's OSCE on the "ABCDE Assessment" of a deteriorating patient. On the whole I have found the book extremely well written and easy to use with scenarios that are relevant towards UK nursing students. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant refresher book 18 April 2012

I bought this book as i had just started an outreach role. It is aimed at ward nurses but it just gives you a refresher of the ABC approach and the senarios within the book really are great and get you thinking.

It's a great resource for nurses working on the ward . It guides you to make a structured assessment and provides simple rationale for the same . Would recommend this to newly qualified nurses to be used as a pocket guide.
