An accurate diary of the tour ( we were there ! ) but at times reads like a railway timetable as it concentrates more on the actual games and not the unique atmosphere amongst the Lions supporters or indeed between the Lions and Australian supporters. Something that every rugby or sports fan should experience once in a lifetime. Mick Cleary's book " Wounded Pride " of the previous Australian Lions tour in 2001 conveyed this special aspect of a Lions tour on match days and through out the tour. But still a good read at £13 from Amazon, and enough to inspire you to start saving up for the next Lions tour !

Disappointing account of historic WINNING tour! I prefer the old Eddie Butler, John Reason, JBG Thomas "story" type books. This is more like a copy of Rugby World. Not worth the price, not even at discounted price.

A mist for all rugby fans. We have the lions DVD and this also creates atmosphere. Have red it twice already
