Rammstein are one of my favourite bands so it's very rare to see me critisize them, but I have to admit, after getting very very excited about the book, it is a bit of a disappointment. The book is full of colour photographs as well as some black and white ones, which cannot be found anywhere, as well as some shots from videos. There are also short biographies from every member except Oliver Riedel (the bassist) about how Rammstein came about and the impact they have had on rock. However, that is all the writing there is. There was just one interview and there were hardly any "outsider" insights in the band. As I am continually searching for information about Rammstein, this left me disappointed. If you intend to buy the book for more Rammstein information, don't buy it. If you want to just look at the pictures, do buy it though, it is an essential part of any Rammstein fan's collection (and it clears up why Rammstein aren't played on MTV UK!)

This review was actually written by my son when he was 14. He asked me not to delete it as it has been helpful to others:

I got this book for Christmas and I must say, it is brilliant. It is packed with pictures and storys about each band member and how they came together to form Rammstein. At the end of the book there are loads of pictures of the German industrails in concert and they are amazing. (Till Getting set on fire is one of the best) I suppose you would have to be a die hard fan of Rammstein to enjoy reading it, but even if you are a casual fan you will enjoy looking at the pictures. Don't believe me....fine! But take my word for it.........BUY THIS BOOK!!!!!

This is a great book with fabulous photgraphs of the band, how a decision was made as to which photographs were chosen of the band I'll never know as they are all so unique. Till Lindemann is a pleasure to look at anytime. Even if you don't know who they are or what they do it's worth a browse. There are some lovely personal shots of the band too, Well worth the money!
