Cornwall forms the tip of the south-west peninsula of the island of Great Britain. The coastline is wild and rocky; headlands and cliffs are interspersed with large sandy beaches in the north, and deeply indented with river estuaries in the south. The interior is dominated by areas of moorland, notably the granite mass of Bodmin Moor.

This guide, produced in co-operation with the Ramblers and featuring Ordnance Survey mapping, is the perfect way to get out and enjoy the stunning scenery.

This compact little guide contains walks, all of which are 5 miles or under, which are ideal for an afternoon stroll.

I live in Cornwall and was looking for walks of a moderate length with directions that are easy to follow and accopanying information of historical interest. This does the job at a very reasonable price. Nice layout good illustrations and informative. I really like the fact that the walks are outlined on illustrations of OS Maps inside the book so I can use my OS Maps in parallel with the book. Excellent.

This neat pocket-size Guide provides a good selection of 20 walks in Cornwall varying from 2 to 5 miles, so while not really of interest to anyone seeking more demanding hikes it's ideal for those who prefer a gentler stroll. An extract from the OS 1:25000 map with the route highlighted is printed alongside each description which is really useful. Colour photos and a brief description provide a good indication of what you will experience on each walk. The Ramblers helped with the production of this Guide so as you might expect the directions are clear and accurate.
