I was really pleased with everything,the delivery was very quick, the bike was very easy to put together. I think it was a bargain and will be buying bikes from here again. And my 5 year old son loves it.

Bought one of these for my son's 5th Birthday. It arrived within a couple of days and my son has been very happy with it.
The one supplied was in red - but in my opinion it was a better looking colour than the orange paintwork shown in the product photo.
Set aside a fair amount of time to set it up though. Ours arrived with the head-race adjusted far too tight and with no grease. The chain was also much too tight. The brakes are budget items and take a fair amount of adjustment to get them to work well.
Having to adjust the chain made me look at the frame where the back wheel attaches and build quality here isn't terribly good. This is a pity since the rest of the bike looks pretty bomb-proof and would require serious determination to break (apart from the brake-levers which are rather flimsy).
From having looked around local cycle shops before opting for Amazon I would guess that the equivalent quality bike would cost about 90 pounds. However, you might find that having a bike properly set up by the shop was worth the extra money.
The gearing is higher than I would have expected - my son can whizz along faster than his friends if the road is level, but has more difficulty getting up hills.
All that said, my son loves his new bike and I have no regrets about buying it.

I am very pleased with this - a great little bike for such a low price. (Free) delivery was very fast, assembly took around 20 minutes, and it will definitely last until my son outgrows it - I think he's going to be delighted when he gets this for his birthday! Amazon is also cheaper than all current Ebay sellers, too! Excellent
