I have had this bike for a couple of months now and I'm very pleased with it. It seems sturdily made and has stood up well to my mixed use (part tarmac cycle track, part road and part packed gravel cycle track) on my journey to work every day. It doesn't seem to heavy (I have to carry it up and down stairs at train stations) and it's great value at the price too.
The reason it only gets four stars is because of what is missing - There is no rear red reflector which is required by law to ride in Britain (weird for a British company not to have this on) and there are no mudguards which will need to bought seperately and fitted if you are using for your work commute and want wear your work clothes.
As someone who has just started cycling again after years without owning a bike, this has made my return to cycling a happy one.

It was surprisingly difficult to find an inexpensive bike that allows a kid (my son) to go fast. It's not that I wanted an "old-fashioned bike like I had when I was a boy" but I was sick of seeing fit and healthy young teens pedalling like crazy just to travel at a reasonable speed. Something that has big wheels and a fairly lightweight frame just goes much further and faster and will coast for huge distances on a level road. It just makes you want to go further and faster! We live miles from my son's school friends and this bike now makes those rides something he looks forward to. As it's a large-ish bike with a small-ish frame and a saddle that will adjust a long way up and down, this will suit him for many years to come. This is a surprisingly good looking bike too with a very uniform matt silver finish that suggests sleek and efficient rather than garish and kiddy. For a fit child, teen or small-ish adult who actually wants to get to a speed that looks good to others as you whizz by, this is ideal, and the price (about £110) was excellent.

Sent it back because the front cog-set was badly bent, although it DID seem good quality for the price apart from this. There was also slight scratching to the frame.

Poor Quality Item
Having to return this item as it arrived with a buckled front wheel, scratches on the frame and missing allen key. Not much more to add really....
