I was given this bike as a birthday present. I initially asked for the Raleigh Swift, and this one looked pretty much the same but was a bit cheaper. Initially I was really pleased with the bike, and used it for cummuting for a week.
After a week, I got to the office one day to find that when I folded down the bike a bit of the clasp in the middle of the bike had fallen off. I took it straight to Evans, who told me it would be impossible to get parts for this bike as it was made as an international export and parts are not available in the UK. Raleigh advised us that we should not have been sold the bike, and we should ask for our money back from Amazon.
So that is what we have done.
For the difference in price, for a bike you can get spare parts for, it's worth paying the extra.
