All I can say of this is, you might wonder why you ever spent so long sat on anything smaller?
Importantly, this is a replacement saddle so it does *not* ship with the bracket to connect it to the seat post. It needs a 'traditional-style' bracket that fits onto a saddle's parallel slide rails; a possible issue if you have one of those saddles with the bracketing pre-moulded into it.
The Raleigh Avenir Gel Sprung Saddle is ideal for larger cyclists!

I had one of those racing seats attached to my new bike when I got hold of it and I can tell you it caused quite a bit of discomfort in an area which is meant to be treated with respect, got hold of this seat and my life got about 10% better instantly after fitting to my bike.
cushioned and wide it was extremely nice to sit on, absolutely no complaints from me.

Much better
The stock seat on my new bike was a complete and total pain in the a**. This seat fixed that. I have a six mile commute to work that includes a mile of bumpy dirt trail. Read more

Puts pleasure back into cycling

Raleigh Avenir Gel Sprung saddle
very comfortable. Lightweight. reflective strip on back. Looks to be hardwearing and good build quality. Much more comfortable than previous saddle.

easy riding
Easy to fit comfortable to ride on . Great for liesurely cycling helps absorb the bumps and jolts and is kind to your rear end.
